To commemorate the 50th Anniversary of the Symposium on the Chemistry of Natural Products, the production of a database compiling all abstracts submitted during the symposium’s 49 year history is being planned.
Preparation and production of such a database to be available to the public free of charge through an official website has begun. Such a database will include abstracts from all the three international symposiums held in Japan, (“The Chemistry of Natural Products, 1964,” “16th International Symposium on the Chemistry of Natural Products, 1988” and “ICOB-5 & ISCNP-25, 2006”).
If any of the authors or bereaved family members of any of the authors of an abstract already submitted to a Symposium on the Chemistry of Natural Products or to be submitted to the 49th Symposium on the Chemistry of Natural Products has any objection or exception to the compilation and publication of abstracts in the form of a database, as described above, please contact the 49th Symposium on the Chemistry of Natural Products Organizing Committee by no later than July 6, 2007. In the absence of any such objection or exception raised by the aforesaid deadline day, the relevant author(s) or copyright holder(s) will be deemed to have consented to such use of his/their abstract.
